Afsoon (she/her)
My introduction to yoga came early, thanks to my MadarjoOn (grandmother), who played a significant role in my life. Although I practiced occasionally over the years, yoga truly became a core part of my life in 2021, following the loss of my grandmother.
That summer, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at the Om Mani Padme Hum School of Yoga and became a certified RYT 200. Through this journey, I discovered that yoga provides me with peace, guidance, and a profound connection to myself. It offered comfort and healing when I needed it most and has since become a powerful tool for my physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, helping me navigate each day with greater ease. I am passionate about sharing this gift with others, helping them experience the same benefits and establish a deeper connection with themselves.
To me, yoga is more than just a series of poses; it’s a path to self-care, self-love, and inner guidance. I approach yoga with mindfulness and meditation, encouraging my students to connect with themselves on a deeper level. My hope is that you leave my class feeling happy, rejuvenated, and more in tune with yourself.
