My first introduction to yoga began about 6 years ago, when I took my first yoga class during my undergraduate degree. I practiced yoga for many years, but once moving to Chicago last year in pursuit of a graduate degree, I unfortunately fell out of practice.
Due to the absence of yoga from my life during that time, I recognized the importance of consistent yoga and meditation practice. I decided that I needed to find a new yoga community in Chicago, and felt more than lucky to have found Half Moon!
I have a strong passion for mental health and wellness, and enjoy encouraging others to develop a deeper connection with themselves. I enjoy sharing this passion with the Half Moon community, and hope to encourage others to bring what we learn in yoga practice out into the world.
